Outside Fun

Yesterday was utterly gorgeous; spring is on its way, and we basked in the warmth of it.

We spent at least two hours out front, riding bikes, toy cars, wagons, etc...

And being completely on my own all day with all three kiddos, really, for the first time since Caleb was born, having an outlet for the girls like this was especially wonderful...life saving.

As you can see, I had fun with the camera.

Instead of "I love you so much," Essie says, "I love you too much!"

A couple months back, when Cousin Jack was spending the day with us, he used the bathroom, and Abby happened to be in the room; she noticed the different little body part boys have and asked my Aunt Conni what that was. My very factual aunt explained what it was called.

Later in the evening, Abby came to me and said, "Mommy, you know what? Jack has a peanut on his bottom."

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

I went a little overboard with the pictures, but it was such a cute shoot (and we about tore our hair out doing it), I just couldn't help myself! :)

Proud Big Sissy

So this is Abby's favorite thing to do with her little brother every day. When I finish nursing, she asks me,

"Can I hold him, please, Mommy?"

How can I resist? She's really quite careful, supporting his head with her arm which she props up with her knee or with a pillow. She's really been a big help with our little guy.

Uncle Nay-Nay

My brother Nathan has been visiting us over the past week. He's been helping out with the kiddos, especially the girls, watching them here at the house while I take care of Caleb. It's been a precious time with him.

If you looked up "impossible" in the dictionary, you would probably see these photos, along with a simple definition of "trying to take a decent picture of three moving targets."

It doesn't even help having a fast camera!

The one above is actually my favorite, only because they are all looking slightly away from the camera with cute expressions on all of their faces.

If the lighting in this one hadn't been so awful, it would have been not half bad.

Caleb is on the mend.

We had to wait until our insurance switched him to the right group to add him to our girls' pediatrician which happened on the 1st. So after all he's been through, I decided to take him in to see our beloved Dr. Sharma earlier this week. Dr. Sharma examined him and removed him from all of the medications, saying that we should only administer the albuterol nebulizer now when he's wheezing. He also said that the fact that he's gaining weight is a good sign that the illness will not be severe and that breastfeeding him is helping to keep him from getting it any worse as well.

We are praising God for all of you who kept our little man in your prayers!!
