Esther graduated from Kindergarten this last Friday.  Can you believe it?  I'm still in shock.  How time flies.
Here she is holding her two awards -- one for best effort in the third trimester and the other for certificate of completion of Kindergarten.  Mrs. Pace said Esther also deserved Principal's award, Academic Achievement, and Citizenship, but she can only give out one in the entire class (of 28).  We thought that meant a lot.

Dress Rehearsal

Dress rehearsal is the only time we're allowed to use flash photography, so I made sure to bring the camera this year.  Above are two of Abby's good friends from school, Bethany and Hannah.

I love the many poses of Abby in these shots.  I kept asking her to smile and stand normal, and this is what I got.  Couldn't resist including them for you.

These were the Pee Wees, which Essie was in last year.  So cute.  Two of them actually had main parts in the show.

Abby's Class Skit

Every year Eric has his students act in a class play, where they each get a part.  He does several of them.  Abby was the main character in her skit, "Crow's Potlatch."

Happy 64th, Papa!

 We celebrated my dad's 64th birthday this year by enjoying some awesome steak (which he barbecued) and eating some amazing cupcakes (with cream cheese bottoms), which my mom made.  Yum!

Happy birthday, Dad/Papa!  We love you!!!

School Dance Performance

This is Abby's third year in dance (ballet and tap) and Essie's second.

They perform two dances (one ballet and one tap) for the final dance production at the end of each school year, and their first performance is at their school.  Kinda fun to watch their response as they dance in front of their classmates.

BUBBLES!

This was an oops moment.  We let the water overflow, while the kids were in the tub, and this is what happened.  Heehee.  Well, they had a grand time.

He made his own bed!!!

I came into the room with his bed already made!  We had made the bed the day before, together, so I guess that gave him a blueprint of how to do it.  Such a big boy.

 My brother Nathan fell asleep on the couch, and our dog Bailey took advantage of the cuddle time. :)
