Snow Day - Part III

These two remind me of
Dr. Suess's The Cat in the Hat Comes Back.
"All that deep, deep, deep snow --
all that snow had to go."

What's missing from these pictures is the scream.
If she looks terrified, it's because she was.
[And I don't mean Abby.]

beautiful grounds...

Who needs a board?

Show-offs!

Building a "snowman."

Started out a snowman...ended up a snowbunny. :)

Essie did this on her own, so I prompted Abby to take the other cheek. :)

Gotta love the face.

One of the biggest thrills? Just dig a deep hole in the snow and let them play in it. Yeah.

Snow Day - Part II

Yep, he's eating the snow. I gave up.

After a very long walk in the mud, on a hunt to find a good hill for sledding (and a longer story as to why), we ended up driving back to the house (thanks to Papa who went and got the car) where Eric and Joel created a nice little hill to sled on right on the property. All's well that ends well.

We were very proud of her.
She doesn't even like slides at the park.

If it isn't obvious, we had a boatload of fun!
