Moving Targets

So fun to take, but can I just reiterate how hard it is to take decent pictures of three moving targets??!!? :)

Pigs in the Grass

I know there are nine pictures here. Nine. Of one little guy.
But what can I say? He doesn't take a bad picture, and all of them were cute (and this isn't even ALL of them!!).

Backyard Fun

The backyard trees are awesome, but they aren't all that conducive to pictures...
So some of the pictures are a little dark.

Essie's hair really needed a do-over, but I figured, Who cares!

Abby and Caleb

July 2009 Professional Photo

Grandma Carmichael persuaded us to go have professional photos taken when we visited them last summer. I'm so glad she did. They came out great. We just finally scanned this (thanks, mom). Isn't this a great photo?

Sitting Up

As with most thirds, Caleb's firsts are
being neglected to be written down.
He's been sitting up with some assistance
for the past month or so.
Just this week he's sitting completely unassisted.
That is, until Thing 1 or Thing 2 come and bowl him over. :)

Pajama Mornings

One of the best things about home-schooling?
Sleepy mornings with cartoons until 9:00 am,
no deadlines to meet or buses to catch...
Ah...
...and more quality time with siblings.

Update

Call me crazy, but I started home-schooling Abby a little over a week ago. It's going really well. I love it. Amazingly.
Abby seems to really enjoy it, too, especially all the extra time spent with Mommy.
Here's a couple pictures from her first day of "Kindergarten."
Essie is participating some. Some. She gets bored very quickly, and I have to ask her to go play by herself a little. It's been a good exercise for her in independent play, something she rarely has had to do.

Caleb is a chunk.
He now has 7 teeth, and an 8th on the way.
He LOVES solid food. Can't get enough.
As we eat our food, he eyes every spoonful.
He can't wait to get his hands on the real stuff.
