SPLASH!

My brother and sis-in-law came to visit us back in early August, which is when these photos were taken.  As you can clearly see, we had us some fuuuuun with water.

Abby's BFF

Abby's BFF Hannah came and stayed with us overnight this last summer.  These pictures are from the end of July (I'm still wading through months of pictures, but I'm getting there; I can see the light).

Needless to say, the kids thoroughly enjoyed her visit with us.

Slide Fun

I came up with the idea to put the pool up to the swing-set slide and see if it would fit underneath.  It worked great.  The kids had so much for over such a simple thing. 

Bowling

We went bowling with a mom's group called Lift this last summer, and the kids really had a great time.  They put gutter bumpers in the sides of each lane, so it's a fool-proof game for the kids.  They loved it.  I have to say, though, this kid above made things pretty difficult.  He would grab a bowling ball and throw it down the lane, whether or not it was his turn. :-/ Bowling with a 2-year-old.
