Spring Park Day

I went picture crazy today at the park, but it was SUCH a beautiful day, and I had a lot of fun chasing my beautiful girls!

Love, love, love those kissably round cheekers. :)

As I'm taking a picture of Essie up high on the jungle gym, she decides she wants me to "catch" her; obviously, this wasn't feasible with camera in hand, so I had to tell her no; you can see my finger in the foreground, firmly telling her not to jump off!

And this was her face afterwards . . . ah. :-(

Blowing Dandelions . . .

. . . a little too closely . . .

. . . and then getting "kissed" by them. :)

Going on a hunt for "kinecones" (pinecones).

He's All Mine

Isn't he cute?

Oh . . . and Caleb is too. :)

My favorite :)

The Cat

So yesterday, I notice Abby walking around with this all over her face . . .
When I asked her why she had marker all over her face, she responded with, "I wanted to be a cat."

Bunny Talk

Tonight after dinner, Abby and Essie got a little Easter candy for dessert. While eating a miniature Easter bunny, Essie has her own made-up conversation with it:

Bunny: "No! Don't eat my feet!"

Esther: [Bites into bunny's feet] "Why not?!"

My Favorite Flower: Ranunculus

My mother-in-law has such a green thumb.
So whenever she comes to visit, we are always blessed by her little touches to our backyard garden. Abby is her faithful assistant, donning garden gloves, a watering can, and a hoe as she climbs up over the wall to dig with Grandma. She's picked up Grandma's gift for growing beautiful things. This year we are seeing little buds of a bulb they planted together last fall, my favorite flower, ranununculus.

Eric also spent several hours in the backyard with our little gardener last weekend, planting petunias and snapdragons, among other things.

I can't begin to tell you how this little flower makes my heart soar.

More of Little Man

Daddy snapped these adorable photos of Caleb today.
Precious boy.

My favorite!
I love the dimpled, gummy grin of a newborn...

Matching Outfits

I love putting them in matching outfits, whenever the chance arises, so when Grammy bought these outfits at Costco, I had to snap a picture.

Easter 2009

Don't you just love the girls' pretty smiles?
Let's just say bribery goes a long way!

Little Punkyns

Can you believe he's 3 months already?

Not the best shot, but you know...
