We celebrated my mom and the girls' birthdays with a small family get-together. And what better way to celebrate than to make one of my mom's favorite dishes -- tacos. Yummy.
The girls received dollies and all kinds of "mommy" paraphenalia -- diaper bags, dolly clothes, hand-crocheted blankets. Thank you, everyone, for their unending fun.

Yummy layered chocolate/whipped-cream cake -- Great Grandma Lois' traditional birthday cake. Mmmmmmmmmm.
Oh, and Mom received jewelry, a scarf, and a beautiful sweater for her birthday. She wasn't an afterthought, I promise! :)
