Easter Morning

Aren't they a bunch of cuties?  Mwah!

 Love this picture above!
Feeling a little like the rose between two thorns here... :)

Everybody has days like this...

I think Essie's in time-out here.  Daddy took her picture to show her how unhappy she looked.  I think it's important to remember even times like these.  Not every moment is a smiley-face moment, and sometimes our pictures neglect to remind us of that.

Annual City Easter Egg Hunt

Every year our little city puts on an Easter egg hunt, and we try to go every year.  The kids love it.  Eric usually takes them, and this year my brother Nathan went along for the fun as well.  Eric only managed to get a few shots of buddy as the girls were in a different section altogether.

Isn't he the cutest thing ever?

Decorating Easter Eggs

Gardening

My kids love to garden.  What is it about kids and dirt?  Maybe it's the fact that we all came from the dust of the ground.  Any chance they get to get outside and garden, they take it.

Jay Jay and Lizzy Visit

My nephew Jay Jay and niece Lizzy visited us last month.  These are pictures from early April.  They've since visited us again, but I don't have photos of that, I don't think, or I haven't uploaded them yet. :)  Busy life these day.  Oh, and I guess my brother and sister-in-law came too.  Heehee.

Holding them is a BIG deal.

11-year-anniversary Trip Part II

Here's a picture of us eating dinner at Papagayos, a pretty yummy Mexican food place.  Eric had a wet burrito of some kind (looked delicious), and I had a shredded beef chimichanga.  Very good!

After dinner we took a drive around the lake and ended up at this amazing scenic-view pull-off.

Already an old married couple. ;)

This was our window-seat view at breakfast.

Through a good friend's recommendation, we ate at the most UH-MAZING place called Belgian Waffle Works.  I mean, amazing.

Did I mention amazing?  Yummers.

One last view of the lake before we headed back down to earth. :)
