Day at the Park

Took the kids to the park a few weeks ago.  We like cheap thrills, and the park always seems to do it, especially when they get to ride their bikes there and back; they love it...and it's FREE.  We love that.

Not sure what was happening with Caleb's hair; apparently it was a bad-hair day.  He's cute, though, so that makes up for it. :)

It's only about a quarter mile to the park, but I was so proud of him.  He rode his bike the whole way there and the whole way back.  Big boy.

Abby hung back with me.  Sweet baby girl.

Valentine's Fun

I found a cute little Valentine's Day card-holder craft for the girls at Target.  Simple, but fun.

This kid has lost 8 teeth!  And I think another one is wiggly.  Wow.

Friday Nights

Every Friday night my parents come over at about 5:30 p.m. and watch the kids so that Eric and I can get out for a date night.  They've been doing this for about 3 or 4 years now, and it has been wonderful.  Thank you so much, Dad and Mom, for all you do, but especially for Friday nights!

Caleb Triking

He's all I've got during the day this year, and yet it feels like I have less time than before.  My mornings are slammed getting the girls ready, fed, and out the door, and after school we've got homework, dinner, bathtime, and bedtime.  And between mornings and school, I'm Caleb's playmate.  While he naps (an hour and half before the girls get home), I'm either working on transcripts, doing laundry, cleaning the kitchen, or taking a nap myself. :)  So time goes by pretty quickly around here, and that is why you don't see me uploading a ton of pictures to the blog.
I'm it for him during the day.  He loses his playmates at 8:45 a.m., and I pick up the slack.  We have fun, though.
