Essie was in her first stage performance this June.Abby was going to be in it, but we pulled her out mid-year due to practice time changes. We gave her a choice, and she said she really didn't care about dance that much; she was okay with pulling out. She wasn't bummed about it then, but as Essie performed, I think she had regrets. Maybe next year.
One of the moms told me that Essie prayed with a little girl who was scared to go on stage.Little girl: "I'm scared to go on stage."
Essie: "My mom says when you're scared that you should pray, so let's pray! Dear Jesus..."
She's an awesome kid, what can I say.
