Hillsboro Fair

A water pump, a trough, some rubber duckies, and some buckets, and you've got yourself a rubber-ducky slip-and-slide. Caleb LOVED this.

Essie got to milk a "cow."
Looks like she's really enjoying herself, huh? :)

A corn box. Who woulda thought.

Making and Designing Dirt Babies

This was cool. They used ankle-high nylons, grass, and dirt to make these little creatures, and then they used fabric glue, googly eyes, and foam shapes to design the faces.

You stick these on top of glass jars of water, with the end of the nylon dangling in the water, and grass starts growing from the top of the dirt baby's head like hair.

You can see one in the background above.

Really clever.

Posing with Cattle

[I can't wait until I can get some real, non-"cheese" smiles out of these kiddos.]

Pigs...

Love Caleb's expression below

...goats...

...and sheep, oh my...

Above: Before the "rollercoaster" started

This picture of the two juxtaposed faces is hilarious, and so them! They are like the happy/sad drama masks. :) Essie takes after me with rollercoasters, and Abby after Daddy.
