Roughin' It

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then I know I've said way too much here. I'm making up for lost time, I suppose. I really want to capture the essence of this grungy, outdoorsy thing we do every year, and I guess I've done that. I won't need to fill you in on all the details...the pictures kinda speak for themselves, for the most part.

Oh, I'm using a new camera (thanks to Eric and Mom for my birthday -- oh, and Jess for the advice on which camera to get -- love, love, love it). And the photo editor (Nero) is new, so some of the photos are really huge (so try not to get too close)...I didn't quite discover how to use it until I was well on my way to uploading many of the photos.

Love to you...

Proof that boys are not the only ones who love dirt!

The story behind the wildflowers...Abby and Daddy picked them just for me on the way back from fishing. In't dat sweet?

Probably the greatest buy yet...a Little Peoples tent camper set. It was adorable and such a hit!

Crossing the "bridge" back from fishing -- yikes!

Love the background in the photo above...it depicts where we stay very accurately...magnificent!

Esther's actually talking in the photo above. This is one of her new conversation faces. Cute.

This photo requires some explanation. This is a "bladder" of water which helped supply numerous showers for the tent camper. Trouble is, to get it to work, somebody had to lie on it.

Hilarious.

Why am I posing with fish?
