Cute Exchange

Esther: "Wanna play?"
Me: "Okay. We can play."
Esther: [runs in the laundry room and comes back out] "Wanna cookie?"
Me: "Cookie? Right now?"
Esther: [hands me an imaginary cookie] "Cookie."
Me: [Eats pretend cookie] "Thank you."
Esther: "Wanna nudder cookie?"
Me: "Another cookie? Sure."
Esther: [runs back in the laundry room and comes back out, hands me another imaginary cookie]
Me: "Thank you." [Eats pretend cookie]

We go through this several other times, and then,

Me: "I'm thirsty now. Can I have some milk?"
Esther: [Shakes her head as she walking back to the laundry room] "No milk."
